The Strongest Tractor Built in Turkey, The Latest New Holland TR6S Launched at the Çorlu Agricultural Fair
The first manufacturer of the Turkish automotive industry and a leader in the field of agricultural mechanization, TürkTraktör renewed its next generation ‘Local Giant’ New Holland TR6 Series, which is a leader in our country with its power output. Featuring a new cab and body design, a Stage 5 engine with more environment-friendly emission levels and state-of-the-art equipment, the contemporary New Holland TR6s was introduced at the Çorlu Agricultural Fair.Noting that TürkTraktör had once again competed with itself during the revamping of the model nicknamed the “Local Giant” by farmers, Ahmet Canbeyli, Chief Commercial Officer, said the New Holland TR6s series, which is titled the ‘strongest tractor built in Turkey’, would continue to be the darling of the producers. Explaining that the next generation, environment-friendly engine, which does justice to the name Local Giant, would also become the biggest assistant of professional farmers with its high-powered output, Canbeyli said; “Drawing on our 65 years of established history, experience and high production abilities, at TürkTraktör we continue to present the agricultural industry in Turkey with innovations. In line with our mission of being a pioneer in the mechanization of agriculture, we have revamped our strongest model, which is suitable for the use of large and modern agricultural equipment. As a requirement of productive and sustainable agriculture, we aimed for lower fuel consumption and operator costs per unit area while also striving to create a product that could save time. We are proud to have introduced to our national agriculture the contemporary New Holland TR6s series with its renewed low-emission Stage 5 engine. We are hoping our farmers will enjoy it.”
More Environment-friendly and Stronger Engine Options
The choice of professional farmers since its launch by TürkTraktör in 2014, the New Holland TR6s series offers 5 different model ranges including 125s, 135s, 145s, 160s and 170s with nominal engine powers of 116 hp and 145 hp, optimally meeting various requirements. The revamped New Holland TR6s series’ no-maintenance Stage 5 engine with ECOBlue HI-eSCR 2 Emission Reduction technology is manufactured by FTP (Fiat Powertrain) through environment-friendly and economical methods with its 4- and 6-cylinder options.
To boost productivity in the latest New Holland TR6s series, TürkTraktör uses the Common-Rail fuel injection system. In addition to this system, Engine Power and Road Mode Power Management Systems, which bring in up to 34hp of extra power, help the new series move more efficiently while working in the field and driving on the road.
Thanks to its 16-speed forward and reverse semi-automatic transmission, the new New Holland TR6s series transmits its high-power output to the wheels in excellent harmony. As well as including these versions with a suspension system on the front axle, all 6-cylinder models feature a 17-speed road gear as standard that further adds to the economy of the TR6s series.
Maximum Traction with the TerralockTM System
One of the most important innovations introduced by the latest New Holland TR6s series is the TerralockTM system which helps use the power output more efficiently and transmits this to the wheels. Allowing the automated control of differential locks and traction control depending on ground conditions, the TerralockTM system thus provides its users with high traction and low fuel consumption. Compared to the previous 4-cylinder series, the latest New Holland TR6s series’ wheelbase was extended by 255mm to 2,642mm to boost its ability to hold the ground. With this modification, the axle distance was built on a common platform for 4 and 6-cylinder models to create a more balanced structure where heavy equipment would be used. Furthermore, the lift capacity of the back hydraulic arms was increased to 6,218kg to facilitate the use of heavy equipment with the tractor.
Maximum Comfort with Cab Suspension and Low Noise Level
The new HorizonTM cab design with a very low noise level of 69dBA, coupled with a cab suspension that comes as standard in all versions, provide operators the most comfortable experience. Thanks to the optional TerraglideTM front axle suspension, the operators’ driving comfort is further improved, allowing the tractor to achieve higher road speeds.
The new projector-type headlights, LED ceiling lighting, solid windshield (that offers an excellent field of vision), new windshield sunshade and the standard ISOBUS socket all maximize practicality and the modern appearance of the New Holland New TR6s series.
