Sustainability Governance

Focusing on managing sustainability efforts at the highest level, the TürkTraktör Sustainability Council is composed of senior executives, and responsible for the management of all internal sustainability activities. The Council was formed to determine TürkTraktör's sustainability strategy, targets and actions, to review the strategic roadmap, to monitor the progress in targets and actions, to follow international developments, public regulations and trends, and to provide development recommendations to the working groups when necessary.

The Sustainability Council, which consists of business leaders of the relevant functions, is chaired by the Company Leader, who is also a member of the council. The Sustainability Department, established under the Quality Assurance & Lean Management Business Leader, is responsible for the follow-up and coordination of the entire process. Five working groups are established under the Sustainability Council. The working groups meet regularly once a month, and inform the Sustainability Council every three months. The working groups and their tasks are as follows:

  • Climate Crisis Working Group:
    It is responsible for monitoring and improvement of TürkTraktör's environmental and energy targets and projects.
  • R&D, Innovation and Technology Working Group:
    It is responsible for the follow-up and improvement of innovative and technological solution-oriented projects.
  • Responsible Procurement Management Working Group:
    It is responsible for the follow-up and improvement of the projects related to the traceable supply chain.
  • Social Working Group:
    It is responsible for target tracking, improvement and corporate social responsibility projects on diversity, inclusion, occupational health and safety.
  • Compliance and Corporate Governance Working Group:
    It is responsible for monitoring the processes within the scope of Ethics and Compliance and Corporate Governance.
