TürkTraktör Starting Domestic Cab Production at the Erenler Factory
TürkTraktör, the first manufacturer of the Turkish automotive sector and Turkey's leading company in the agriculture mechanization, started the domestic production of TR6 series cabs. Previously supplied from abroad, the cabs are now manufactured at TürkTraktör’s Erenler Factory. TürkTraktör continues to increase the domestic production rate, standing out in its sector with its commitment investments in this regard.Stating his excitement about the domestic production of cabs after a 20-month preparation phase, Aykut Özüner, TürkTraktör CEO, said: “As TürkTraktör, we are happy to manufacture the TR6 series cabs, previously supplied from abroad, at our Erenler Factory. Our TR6 series tractors, called ‘Domestic Giant’, are manufactured for the Turkish market, meeting with great appreciation from the farmers. From now on, the TR6 series will be equipped with cabs manufactured at our Erenler Factory. The Ankara Factory has been already manufacturing engines, front axles and transmissions. Now, we are breaking new ground with the production of cabs, one of the most important components of a tractor. In order to ensure the highest quality, we have commissioned special electronic equipment for operations. In addition, as always, we prioritize ergonomics and occupational safety, equipping the production lines with special assembly equipment. We are also proud of contributing to the Turkish economy with this milestone. As a leading company in the sector and agricultural mechanization for 68 years, we aim to further expand our production capacity in this field.”
First AGV Production Line in Turkey
The TR6 series cabs, manufactured by TürkTraktör, shine with their natural navigation and charging pads (opportunity charge) integrated into the floor. Thus, TürkTraktör commissioned the first AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) production line in the sector, able to carry out flexible production without the need for a charging station. With the technological transformation achieved in production processes, cabs move on AGVs instead of conventional production lines.
